My Beliefs

Cross & Clouds

I believe that Jesus was the son of God.  He was born of a virgin and was the physical manifestation of God in human form.  I believe He lived a perfect life that can be credited to anyone who believes and repents (change of heart).  I have confidence that the life He lived is credited to my own, and that I will never repay that debt, nor can I.  Not only did Jesus live the perfect life on my behalf, he didn’t stop there.  He also paid the price of my sin, which could only be death, by willingly dying in my place.

Having completed the sentence and acting as my advocate or hero, death could not keep him for it had no claim to a sinless one.  In being raised from the dead he proved that death was no longer permanent.  I will have a time of death, but I will not remain dead forever.   Being spotless and considered acceptable by God, I now live but not as I was.

See Romans 4:5, 6:9, 6:23, and 1 Corinthians 15:54 for more information on these concepts, or begin reading the Bible for yourself to find out if this has any validity.
